Just this past week my lower bottom molar has been bothering me. However I did experience this same pain last year while I was on my way to Japan. Strangely the pain went away after the second week or so in Japan then never returned until 15 months later. Perhaps it was an infection that went away by itself and came back? There is nothing wrong with the tooth, no decay, but long ago I had a filling near the root which could be the reason of its sensitivity. Welp, I surely hope it goes away again. I also been told root canals aren’t cheap. Since I have no dental insurance I’ll have to break the bank. Crap, this is the sucks!!!

After 2 weeks the tooth still freakin hurts! The only time It feels decent is when I am sitting down and not moving, other than that it feels my nerves trigger off the pain and reeks havoc on my entire right jaw. The good new is my job now has insurance enrollments, but I will have to suffer a substantial pay cut for the weekly insurance fee. Well, it is either take the insurance or pay approximately $2000 up front to a dental firm. This is still the sucks!!!
You should really get that checked out. An untreated abscess could turn into some really serious problems. I know of two people that had the infection spread. Not to scare you but one of them ended up having to have heart surgery at only 35 all because of a tooth infection he ignored too long!!! I hope you get good dental insurance, what you pay for health insurance through work is usually well worth the price believe me.
Thanks Wendy. I did get the dental insurance after all, but I’ll have to wait until the 1st of June before it becomes active. In the meantime I’ve been taking orderless garlic capsules to treat the infection. It really is a good alternative to penicillin. It seemed to clear up the sore gums 100%. Still It feels sensitive to hot stuff like coffee. Probably the nerves are exposed.
You could try finding a dental school in your area. I had dental work done practically next to nothing at the university here. Hope all is well! Steve
