You can’t talk, I’m anxious, I’m off the walls, I’m right here just, come outside,
and see it, but pack your heart, you might need it.

I’ll find a way, I’ll confuse them, but I think I can try. I will save your life,
I will save your life. I’ll try for you.

You’re locked up, You exhaled, You did it before, I seen it. Come outside,
and breath in. Relax your arms, and let me in.

I’ll find a way, I’ll confuse them, but I think I can try. I will save your life,
I will save your life. I’ll try for you.

I know what to say to take you, Higher, higher. No one else can take you higher.
But I will try, for you.

City Buses On Strike!

02 Aug

Looks like it is time for me to pump up the bicycle tires and bike to work. The Tucson city bus drivers and mechanics decided to go on strike yesterday after the Tucson bus company “suntran” declared no wage increases to their employees’ and offered only to cover future increases in their insurance premiums. I guess that pissed the union off big time. Welp, looks like there won’t be any bus services on the route I usually take to work. My heart goes out to the thousands of people who relay on taking the bus everyday. Luckily for me I am already an avid bicyclist on my days off so biking won’t pose much of a problem, but to everyone else, “MY GOD!!! $20 dollar taxi rides can add up. I surely hope we have a mild monsoon season this august. No doubt biking in the mud and rain is funner than hell, but if you wear a dress shirt, pants and tie it could be quite a mess.

Finally it looks as if the bus system is now resuming their regular daily schedule. Hey, I actually enjoyed biking to work for the 7 days they were striking. You know, I just might decide to bike all the way everyday regardless of their comeback.
